Easy
to Reach
The Maine Turnpike has
recently adopted the Mileage-Based Exit Number System,
resulting in changes to all exit numbers on the Turnpike. These
directions reflect the most recent changes.
After crossing into Maine, on I-95 from New Hampshire there are
4 exits. After the 4th exit (York Exit #7, formerly Exit #4) you
pay a $1.50 toll to enter the "Maine Turnpike".
After the toll you are on the Maine Turnpike (still I-95 North).
From the South:
Take the Wells Exit #19
(formerly Exit #2) onto Rt. 109. Take a left off of the exit and
follow Rt. 109 approximately 3 miles to Rt. 1 North. Follow Rt.
1 North approximately 4 miles to Rt. 9 East (just past the Maine
Diner on your right) where you will take a right towards
Kennebunkport. Go approximately 2 miles through two sets of
traffic lights and straight into the center of Kennebunkport.
Cross the little green bridge into "Dock Square". Go
straight through Dock Square and at the stop sign in front of
the Nott House take a right onto Maine Street. Go 1/2 mile and
bear right (going onto South Maine Street). We are 1/4 mile on
right. (Look high on the posts for the blue signs with white
glow in the dark lettering).
From the North:
Take the
Kennebunk/Kennebunkport Exit #25 (formerly Exit #3). Veer right
onto the off ramp and at the stop sign take a left onto
Rt. 35 East. Follow Rt. 35 East thru Kennebunk and
approximately 4 more miles into Kennebunkport. At the traffic
light take a left onto Rt. 9 (the Sunoco Gas Station will be on
your left). Cross the little green bridge into "Dock
Square". Go straight through Dock Square and at the stop
sign in front of the Nott House take right onto Maine Street. Go
1/2 mile and bear right (going onto South Maine Street). We are
1/4 mile on right. (Look high on the posts for the blue signs
with white glow in the dark lettering).
